Chemical Peel

Service Description

Chemical peels are acidic applications designed to lighten brown spots, tighten fine lines and wrinkles and even help alleviate acne. These are higher-risk but higher immediate reward. Typically chemical peels are done in a series. Your esthetician will do a consultation and start with a superficial peel to determine the level of acidity your skin can tolerate. If the skin is thicker and tougher, the acidity of subsequent peels will become more intense. Client may experience physical shedding/flaking of skin, therefore scheduling is important. If client's skin will not tolerate high intensity/deep peels, a series of superficial peels will still be very beneficial to the skin. The repeated application will "train" the skin into behaving younger! This will all be repeated in the consultation. You can schedule a consultation separately on my site, or text to schedule! However, this booking includes a 15-minute consultation period if you'd like to consult the same day you come in for your peel. If that is the case, please note the esthetician reserves all rights to refuse you this service and provide a refund in the case you are not a candidate for a peel. Examples of refusal: not agreeing to wear SPF post-peel, pregnancy (though some peels are pregnancy/nursing-friendly!), open lesions on face, issues with cold sores, extreme skin sensitivity, not agreeing to all other terms and conditions.
